Novel Compounds that Selectively Inhibit HSP70 Isoforms for the Treatment of Cancer
These compounds target a specific peptide binding domain of Heat Shock Protein 70 (HSP70) isoforms. The method in which these compounds have been derived allows for HSP70 isoform specificity. Many HSP70 targeted drugs have been unsuccessful due to the variety of HSP70 isoforms, and lack of specificity to a particular isoform.
